News this week from Beltway Poetry Quarterly, Medusa Coils (back issues of the newspaper are archived at the Wompo festival of women's poetry here: wompherence.proboards.com ).
1. Kim Roberts, editor of Beltway Poetry Quarterly, announces a new issue of her online journal. The Langston Hughes Tribute Issue, co-edited with Katy Richey, includes 34 poems inspired by Hughes's legacy, commemorating his residence in DC in the early days of his career. The issue includes an introduction by Katy Richey, and an essay by Kim on the places in DC where Hughes lived and worked, with a map by Emery Pajer.
