The Nature of Words, Central Oregon's premier literary event, takes place November 6 - 9 in Bend, Oregon. Workshop leaders and readers include Judith Barrington, Patricia Smith, Pam Houston, Luis Urrea, Ursula K. Le Guin, and others.
Judith Barrington will lead two workshops:
"What Makes a Poem a Poem: On Not Going to the Edge of the Page" and
"What Makes a Memoir a Memoir: The Three 'I's of Personal Narrative."
