Nice pics, Diane. And that was Christine's last name was Whittemore whose poem I read.
How wonderful to finally meet some of the woman power that makes up this list, to just chat some, hear fine poetry. And lovely little list-memeber-by-proxy, that is, Elaine's daughter. I can't get over how well behaved she was, how willing to participate in appropriate ways when other audience members were tongue-tied. A thoroughly engaging young lady, one I could picture in an Alice adventure in Wonderland, even despite the raven hair. And Ada's swan pin inspired some color-full artwork on her part. I look forward to seeing her again either at Salem or Worcester.
And Elaine not only gets the distance award, but also the couture award as well... those are knee high lace-up Converses she has peeking out from beneath that one-of-a-kind multi-zippered skirt she got in Europe. I fully expected her to whip it off and set up temporary lodgings for the night, tent style.
Thank you, Ada, for all the work for putting together the reading. And welcome all, new friends in poetry.
Joyce

Ada organized a wonderful reading. It was so great to have our Wom-Po time together, to meet everyone, to share poems, to make contact in person. Thank you again, Ada, for your wonderful work putting the reading together!
I was also able to purchase Ada's poetry collection, as well as the anthology on regret edited by a Wom-Po, and containing poems by a number of Wom-Po's, including both Ada and Joyce.
I look forward to seeing everyone in Salem and Worcester!
Warm wishes and hugs! Elaine
