Well, better late than never!!! And it wouldn't take my user name until I fiddled around with it. But here I am and glad to be here. Hopefully someone will notice, eh? I still think doing a journaling workshop during the Wompherence on line would be my cup of tea. That is if there is interest. The Journal as Compost or some such. Am open to suggestions. The computer I am on must have a web site to block/copy and put into search engine. I can't click on any buttons in any e-mail which has slowed down my on-line activism!!! I get a run time error and a big brotherly send to us to fix message, which I always decline, then I am kicked off internet only to begin it all over again!!! I cant get the smilies to work, either.

Hi Christina - glad you got this far - hope you'll be able to get into the chatroom too now that you've registered.

Hey, I am here again (actually not the first time I have been on such an animal) but I must say Live Chat is troublesome as it is headed by something called Female Finder - the pics are innocuous enough of head shots of young teen girls - but is this what is supposed to be there?
New title for possible Journal Salon: Journal as Compost: How Does Your Garden Grow?

Hi Christina, the workshop title sounds great! But the chatroom background don't sound so good I'll check it out and get back to you - don't remember seeing those gals myself .. l8r, moi

Christina, I think you've gone into the wrong chat area because I'm not seeing what you've seen .... try this ..
1. Click on the [Live Chat] tab to the top right of your screen.
2. There should be some sort of registration/password process that you'll have to complete.
3. DO NOT click on one of the tabs at the bottom of the Live Chat screen ('International chat room', 'Freevideochat', 'chatrooms' etc) because that'll take you to a bunch of other places. They're the advertisements and we'd have to pay $$ to get rid of them.
4. After you've registered and gotten your password, you'll be able to log in to ourchat room and you'll see a screen that says,
"Welcome. You have entered chat lobby."
Try that and let me know if you've still problems? moi

Hello, I am interested in your project. Those security check numbers and letters make me feel kind of inept. I had to copy them 6 times! I don't know why. I do wear glasses .

yeah, I also had a problem - made me wonder if the check is intended to be one of our perseverance and not of our ability to read the squiggly things moi

This looks really good to me. When I heard about it, I thought a crone like me could never get past the front gate...too many electronic hurdles...but this is easy and fun. Looking forward to the rest of it.

Hi Janet ((hug))
If you can post, it means you've done the registration process correctly and that's the only hard bit.
One good news is that you're now also registered for the festival and you won't have to re-register come November (provided you don't lose your password).
Another good news is that you're now also registered for the festival lucky draws. So every day that you visit here in November will give you chance of winning a poetry book by a wompo.
xx, moi

Wonderful job Moira & other Wompolites! I've put up one or two of these bulletin boards myself and know much background work is involved. So give yourself a hearty pat on the back! It looks great. Ann

Thanks Ann, good to see you here - and right now, only half of what is up and waiting for the 1 November opening is visible! Hope you'll be sending some contributions to this fest now you've found the Calls section xx, moi

i'm sorry, I can't figure out the purpose of this Board or whatever this is. Or how to join. Or how to make use of this site. HELP ! Where am I !? I thought I was posting something about myself as a poet, and my poems. ....Confused.

Thanks for your wonderful efforts and great work! I am enjoying frequent visits and was delighted to learn about winning Kathleen Jesme's book Motherhouse in the Fest Book Giveaway. However, since you ask for suggestions, I noticed one small snag: When I checked my profile (prior to being notified of winning the book, which requires the winner to be registered) I am listed as not registered. When I tried to register, the system said the user name was taken. So I added a "1" to the username to become registered. A few days later, I discovered I was a book winner. Now I fear I might be registered twice (!) and so tried to unregister the second effort. But because the help section didn't seem to give clues on that process, I am turning to this community board, as I do not want to be improperly registered twice. Apologies, if this is much ado about nothing. With Appreciation and Best Wishes, Ann Neuser Lederer (annlederer AND annlederer1)
