"Presence"

Something happens
to space when you enter
Lines bend
Planes ripple
Angles become kind
When the air holds you
stunned microns whir
a dervish dance
collide in startled circuit
alter the lambency of light

Something happens to time
A dropped beat
aeon unretrieved
Something somewhat sings
Bells, brook, blood
I think all three
There are sunderings
and reconnectings
and flutesounds
in the inner ear

Something happens
when a void implodes
by your entering
