BESMILR BRIGHAM WOMEN WRITERS AWARD Commemorating Brigham's (an outsider writer who shirked well-trodden paths) work and memory, this contest will publish a book of poems by a woman writer living away from the largest of urban centers. The winner will receive $500 and publication.

ELIGIBILITY: Manuscripts accepted May 1-June 30. Women living in rural areas or off the coasts in smallish cities (less than 1 million people) are eligible (outside the U.S. please query).
